Collaborative post
Heading out to the beach now and again for a fun family day out can be a great way to spend your Saturday. Family days out are always great, and heading somewhere further afield for a day of fun is what the system need sometimes.
When planning your road trip to the beach there are a lot of things to think about. What you are going to wear, whether to have car accident lawyers with integrity on hand in case of an issue, and even the activities you will do during your visit.
One thing you might not have planned out though is what you will eat while at the beach. Bringing some snacks and foods along with you for your beach trip is a great idea, and today we have some great ideas for you to try.
Fruit salad
Fruit salad is the best possible snack to bring with you to the beach because not only is it cold and refreshing, but it is also very healthy and easy for the family to pick at while enjoying the sunshine. You can make a simple fruit salad perfect for the beach by cutting up some pineapple, melon, strawberries, apple, and mango. Add some lemon juice to keep fresh and pack this with you in a cooler for the beach.
Frozen grapes
If you are planning to bring along some drinks during your beach trip such as fruit juices or wine, one thing you can try is packing some frozen grapes. Frozen grapes can be a great snack on their own but they will also be brilliant added to drinks to keep them cold without diluting them like ice cubes. Frozen grapes can be the ideal addition to your beach bag, and will give everyone a refreshing and punchy snack to enjoy.
Vegetable chips
Vegetable chips can either be bought at the store or you can try and make some of these yourself at home. If you have an air fryer, all you will need to do is slice some sweet potato, carrot and parsnips thinly, spray them with cooking spray and season with salt, and pop them in the air fryer for around 10 minutes. For those who don’t have an air fryer handy, consider taking the same steps but instead bake your chips for 20 minutes or so until crispy. Store these ina Tupperware and also play around with different flavours such as rosemary salt or garlic and paprika. You can really have some fun with these recipes.
